English language skills registration standard for nursing and midwifery

From 1 July 2015, a new registration standard for nursing and midwifery English language skills will come into effect. If you are in the process to apply for a visa to work as a nurse or midwife in Australia, this is the new standard that you have to consider. Notice that the new standard will apply to all applicants for initial registration, regardless of whether they qualified in Australia or overseas.
